Right now, in order to get farther in the process (i.e. interest group) we have to have recognition from the university. In order to become recognised, we have to become a CSUN (our student government) recognised organisation.
A personal sidenote, I am a chairman of a flagship committee of our only community service vein, the Rebel Service Council. The committee, namely Labor of Love, concentrates on hands -on, labourous projects.
We have two advisors, one being the RSC advisor and another advisor which is the Wellness director in our Student Services Center. We have at least 10 real members w/ 20 on our "roster". We had to have 15 members to become an organisation. After we become an CSUN organisation, we're going to slow it down and start working on the integrity of our group.
