I actually didn't think it was so bad. The thing is, the superficiality of the process is just part of it. Just like a job interview or a first date, first impressions are really important during rush...both for the rushees and the houses. I feel like all the articles focus on that and I want to be like "Thanks, we already know it's superficial".
