While it may or may not upset legitimate members that there are groups posing as national groups, we leave it up to our HQ's to handle these situations. We have a chain of command for this sort of thing.

Also, as mentioned, these groups are now acting as unrecognized locals. Some have changed names. More than likely, they are not using rituals in their original form as proscribed by the national group. As 33 said, there is A Sisterhood/Brotherhood there.

I don't understand why this issue bothers you so much... maybe you need to talk about it with someone? It seems like an unhealthy attachment. The situation is being dealt with by the university.

Have you rushed with unsatisfactory efforts? If this is the case, I do recommend that you get involved with other campus activities and let the university and HQ's deal with this, if it is a legit situation and stop worrying about something that really doesn't effect you personally.

Unless of course, someone in one of these groups has caused you personal harm or discomfort. Then you should report it to your university and recover through friends, family and counseling. Good luck. As this topic has been beat to death, could you please stop posting new questions about it? We've all come to a consensus that renegade groups, if identified, should be reported to HQ and University officials, who have the power and ability to make change from there. Good luck to you!
