Is this a student publication? (can't really tell if this is the campus paper or if this is sort of a "neighborhood pulse paper".) If it's a student publication...you can sort of assume that any girl might be a reporter. I was a reporter when I went through rush, but I chose not to write about rush. I mean...would her rush have been really different if they knew she had the words JOURNALIST plastered over her application? I could imagine most chapters would go out of their way to be nice to her, which, from a reporting point of view sort of ruins the authenticity of the story. "Oh it was great, all the chapters were extremely polite to all women and treated them all equally and not once was it stressful." We all know that's BS. It's stressful, PNMs and members can be crabby, and we're all exhausted.
