Yesterday in the Fort Worth area, it was seriously the best day to go golfing. It was maybe 85 degrees, cloudy and there was a nice breeze.
Today in the DFW area it's pretty nice again as well. I think the Dallas area probably got some rain... around 6 PM I saw a bunch of fast moving "bands" of clouds that were really dark & scary. They didn't hit the west side of the DFW metroplex though.
Yesterday along those TxDot signs there were phrases like "Heavy traffic on routes to Houston. Travel discouraged" flashing all over the metroplex.
I hope the Houston folks get home safely! It looks like a bunch of Houstoners (?) will be headed back in the next few days.
