Just finished watching the Downfall DVD I won at golf...

Powerful film to say the least about the fall of the Third Reich told more or less from the point of view of Hilter's secretary.

For those that have seen the made for TV films about the final days - this blows it away... and it doesn't hide from the madness, horror, and depravity of the final days, nor the Nazi elite - while at the same time punching you in the gut by humanizing the monsters...

I'd recommend that if your a film or history buff to watch it... but with two cavets: 1) it's very graphic (I could barely watch the scene with the Goebbels kids); 2) it's in German with English subtitles - but it adds more realism and impact I think.
