I talked to one of my sisters this morning. She's staying in Sugar Land. Her sister is 35 weeks pregnant, and advised not to go anywhere...since she's already on bed rest. My husband's bro called and they made it to College Station where they're staying put.
Also, talked to my cousin. She teaches in Rockwall (a suburb of Dallas), there were FIST FIGHTS at Wal-Mart, because they ran out of water. She said she had to laugh, because a customer was crying to the cashier, "What were they going to do without water?" The cashier told her, "Why don't you go home and put some from your tap into jugs?" People just get hysterical and cease normal thinking processes! Talke to my dad too. He and his woman are hunkered down for the weekend. He said it's a little windy, but not much else going on 'cept for the crazies in town!
