My ideal man...
I remember reading "The Coldest Winter Ever" and one lesson Winter's father instills in her when she's young is, "Only a hard-working man, a sharp thinker who doesn't hesitate to do what he gotta do, to get you what you need to have, deserves you." I also think that my ideal man should:
1. be honest
2. have a sense of humor
3. be knowledgeable of current world events (not just the world of sports)
4. be able to hold an intellectual conversation without it drifting to the subject of sex, unless it's brought up somehow
5. if he has a child/ children, he had better be responsible for him/her/them (if he's unable to pay child support, he should be spending as much time with him/her/them as possible)
Other than that, that's my ideal man. People always say that a person should marry their best friend, and I think they're right.
