I can relate... It took 10 months for me to receive my badge. Apparently the shipment was sent somewhere else and subsequently lost. By the time anyone realized it, the company used to make the badges was closed for the summer... yada yada yada, you get the idea. Thankfully mine was correct when I did finally get it. Sorry to hear that your chapter is having problems with it.
