It depends on your campus. At schools w/ smaller systems, a lot of times girls drop out for various reasons (class overload, parents need persuading, $$ trouble) and they rush again w/ no prob.
But from what I've heard & read about schools w/ huge systems (Like U of Illinois, Penn State, like that) if you don't get it the 1st time forget it. This is just my assumption so if I'm all wet, please correct me.
Speaking of correcting me - thanks SoCal - you are right in saying no one can ever find out what was said about them in selection discussions. I didn't quite put that right. What I was trying to say is, if anyone gives the "you got cut so you can't ever join" speech, it's a bogus excuse. You DID get cut for a reason, and you might never get a bid, but it has NOTHING to do with any rule like that. If they are putting you off saying things like that the best thing is to forget that sorority & move on.
