Don't get me wrong, they are important, but in reality grades only count as so much. What you learn on the social side of the fraternity is just as important as having decent grades. Good grades and a lack of personality is not going to get you anywhere.

If you look at those that are successful..most of them didn't have the greatest grades in college but they did learn a lot of stuff that allowed them to get where they are today.

A fraternity is a bit of both. Work hard and play hard.
