UCF has a very strong Greek Community. There are interchapter and intrachapter friendships and the only "rivalries" are friendly exchanges during intramural sports events and homecoming. It's remarkable.

Fratnernities will sometimes pair up and throw parties together. I don't know how they do it today, but in the late 90's, if you were a girl, you got into any party. If you were a guy and you weren't a member of the fraternity/ies throwing the party, you had to be on the guest list.

It wasn't unusual to see a bunch of SAE's at an ATO/SigEp party, though!

Everyone gets along really well. We support each other's philanthropies, intramurals, socials are well-attended, chapter members attend Panhellenic and IFC meetings to socialize with one another, there is continuous Greek enrichment programming yearround... and the chapters and the Greek Adviser have instilled a good sense of Panhellenism and encouragement of having friends and a life outside of your own chapter.
