"Dean of Students Jean Schober Morrell released a memorandum to fraternity presidents stating that the fraternity has been placed on probation and is currently prohibited from accepting new members.

She also said Alpha Kappa Lambda officers have been helpful in her investigation. “It’s important to know that the president and two other members came to see me first thing in the morning,” she said. “The group has been very upstanding. I realize this is a few people, and they are being held accountable.”

In the past Alpha Kappa Lambda has been involved in programs that have worked to end domestic violence."

At least this is a pretty straightforward report, with no "editorializing by the reporter, and the Dean is pretty even-handed in her comments.

Northern Colorado (UNC) does not have a particularly large Greek community, but it does seem to get along with the University reasonably well.

The former President, who is now interim President at The University of Colorado (C.U), (Former US Senator) Hank Brown is a Delt from the former C.U. chapter and was very supportive of Greek Life when he was in Greeley.
