It might even help the school financially. Most fraternity boys do eventually mature and turn out all right, participating heavily in alumni activity. Wasn't President Hank Brown a Delta Tau Delta?

I hope somebody in the administration up there reads and heeds this. But I'm not holding my breath.
Brother (ex-US Senator) Brown is a Delt from The University of Colorado. He has spoken to our Colorado Alumni Chapter at least twice and also came to Delt rush events when he was President at the University of Northern Colorado -- although he was careful not to endorse Delt specifically -- but rather to speak favorably of the system and fraternity membership.
Unfortunately, our former chapter at C.U. (Beta Kappa) has been closed three times and will probably never be recolonized. One of the most beautiful fraternity houses in the nation was trashed (after local alums donated $1.5 Million) and then sold to the University prior to the final closure.
Maybe Brother Brown can help -- but the political climate in the area is probably more favorable of the stricter rules.
