While it may be a part of college life it isn't an image you should be promoting. We used the posters as part of a publicity blitz so they were all over campus. It was nice to know people read it, but I understand where the profs were coming from. My chapter tended to be good girls so we weren't known for poor grades, skipping class and being slackers.
Seriously though, it doesn't change it at all to just remove the one line if you are posting it on campus. It isn't worth the trouble if someone calls you on it. And again, its not an image to promote, even though we all miss a class or two.
I never saw the beenie thing in the poem...
