when i pledged i discovered that one of the seniors in the chapter was from my home town and lived on the street behind my parents. a girl who lived down the street and was a year younger than me, went to university of florida and joined zeta there-i ran into her at a department store and she was wearing her pledge pin.
after i married i lived briefly in san antonia, and the girlfriend of my husbands friend and i were chatting about our past lives and one of us mentioned sororities and we learned that we were both zetas-she was from southwestern u.and was a legacy.
we were visiting our best friend in the navy, who is a pilot for delta living in atlanta, and were introduced to his (then) girlfriend- a zeta from u of georgia.
one of my daughters best friends has two cousins who are zetas at a school in w.virginia.
and tom....,my daughters boyfriend(in hs) just pledged lambda chi alpha at u of north florida!also, my father in law was a lambda chi at ok. state.
