I agree. And it's really, really hard for me to remain open minded when all I see are the bad things. The thing is I want to stay open minded and I want to hear "reasons" why they support Bush but to me the reasons aren't really "reasons" (I say this because the Bush supporters I have spoken too voted for him due to their beliefs on abortion and whatnot and not that that isn't a important topic of discussion it's not crucial right now. What's crucial is the thousands of US Soldiers who are dying in Iraq, Afghanstan and not as much, but Kuwait). If that makes sense at all.

As a President I think he sucks, now it's not to say as a man he is probably nice. Just b/c I don't like him doesn't mean I wouldn't love to meet him and really discuss some of the issues I have (ie. NCLB, the war in Iraq, gas prices).

To the Bush supporters, I would love to know why you still support him. Other than him being Pro-life why do you support him? I really wanna understand. Because as a teacher and a human being I need to understand both sides of the coin. I understand where the anti-Bush supporters are coming from but not the Pro-Bush supporters.
