Here we go, the lame old 'quality over quantity' fallback when a chapter does not do as well in rush as it had hoped or expected to do.

Every time I read that a chapter "elected to go for quality over quantity this year" I see a chapter that is making excuses for why it did not succeed in rush. As our Recruitment Commissioner, ARMs, and other rush leaders have continually stated, there is no reason whatsoever why a chapter cannot achieve BOTH quality AND qunatity in rush.

As UTKappaSig 21 himself says in his posting, Lambda Chapter "did a lot better last fall". I hope other chapters don't have the same lesser results this Fall as Tennessee apparently has had, but if they do, I sure hope that they don't trot out the excessively overused 'quality over quantity' rationale for their disappointing performance.
