And that's all well and good, as long as she's paying her own bills. If a PNM is expecting her parents to foot her bills, and they refuse to pay for sorority expenses, it's time to either a) get a job or b)withdraw from recruitment. I've seen too many chapters be disappointed (doubly) by pledging a woman who dropped immediately for financial reasons. That's a point we really try to get across during our Alumnae Panhellenic info sessions, especially to those girls that attend w/o their parents.
