The Beta Theta Pi administrative office staff and brothers everywhere extend their thoughts and prayers to the residents of New Orleans and those affected by hurricane Katrina in the states of Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. The Fraternity has three active chapters (Ole Miss, Alabama and Auburn) and over 3,400 alumni in the region.

The following chapters were potentially affected by Hurricane Katrina:

University of Mississippi - no confirmed reports;

University of Alabama - no confirmed reports;

Auburn University - no confirmed reports;

If you have information to add or share, please do. You may edit this link directly from your personal computer by selecting 'Edit' on the left side of the screen or you may call the administrative office at 1-800-800-BETA with information.

If you speak to undergraduates or alumni from these areas, please pass along any information on how they fared to aoffice@wooglin.com

Our chapter is currently manning tables at a campus plaza to take donations. To my knowledge, we are the only fraternal organization (much like the Tsunami) to be actively seeking donations.
