AGDee, I think you are completely right. Hopefully she'll change her tune after bid day. I know I talked to her and she pretty much said it was because of Academics, she thought that the Recruitment Schedule was too grueling (from 4-10 each day) and she didn't want it interferring with school. I tried to tell her that it is only going to happen this week, but I don't think she is grasping that concept. I know i'm going to have to tell her all about the academic aspect of sorority life.

Ok, so on with my update! lol.

We met yesterday @ 4 for Philanthropy night. I went in this order:
Phoebe
Piper
Paige
Prue
Patty

Phoebe---I think i've fallen in love! LoL..no really. This sorority is just me! We did some projects for this sororities philanthropy. I was sitting at a table with a girl from LAST YEARS rush group, and she remembered me! LoL....what is up with me and being recognized by this chapter? Maybe I made a good impression on them last year So hopefully I can do it again this year! I really feel at home with this group!

Piper--My feelings for this group have changed since last year. Although I don't feel AS comfortable as I do with phoebe, I really like this group as well. Some of the PNMs don't have a lot of good things to say about this sorority, but i'm one of the few that does. I really like this group and i'm glad I got to go through rush again so I can see that my opinions werent completely true.

Paige--This group was nice, but I just can't see myself with them. We went from talking about their philanthropy to talking about Hurrican Katrina/New Orleans/how the media portrays all the bad things/ and talking about all the good things we've heard. lol. It was very interesting to say the least!

Prue--I didnt think I would like to come back to this group, but I was pleasantly surprised that i did. It was nice to see them again. They really did focus on the other girls sitting at my table, but that was understandable...i guess. My friend in this group was keeping everyone CRACKING up when telling stories related to the philanthropy. I swear that girl is a character!!

Patty--By this time, everyone was beat! My eyelids were soo heavy! UGh. But it was nice hearing about why they chose this group and such. This was hte only group that served different food! Lol....everyone one had cookies and lemonade, while this group had a fruit and veggie platter plus kool-aid!! lol.


I do really like all the groups, but I do really like one or 2 the most. If I had to choose right now my list would be.

Phoebe
Patty
Piper
Paige
Prue.

I ended up just telling some of the girls in my rush group that I had rushed last year....and they all supported the idea of me going through rush again. Now they all want the scoop on who the Rho Chis are and all the dirt about the sororities...but my lips are sealed. Well I gotta rush to class now.

Today we have the greek BBQ @ noon (but I have class)
and then sorority spirit tonight!
