im am so grateful you are here!

when i didnt see a post ealier got worried, but i am glad to 'see' you.

my family is praying for you and the millions displaced. stay encouraged! use that strength and tenacity to get through this time!

"because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high beause he has known My name. He will call upon Me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With a long life aI will satisfy him and let him see my salvation"

psalms 91:14-15- the new inductive study bible.

through all of my trial, this psalm and specifically this passage has kept me. my prayer is that in the midst of all of this, you remember that God is by your side, protecting you. the devil is a liar. you, your family, your neighbors WILL rebuild.

GOD BLESS YOU AKA2D and all affected by this week's events!

Thanks for asking. I'm online right now to give myself a break from the news. As I have been telling everyone, it is depressing. The SE LA area is like a 3rd World Country. I guess I am a refugee. I am with my mother, but this area received damage with wind and rain on Monday.

Many of us are fortunate, but others are not. Please donate to the Red Cross. Some of the evacuees are to be sent to Houston. If there are evacuees in your area, please assist them. This is a horrific tragedy. Donations are needed, as well as prayers. Today has been designated a "Day of Prayer" in Louisiana. We have our own war in the United States...RIGHT NOW! There are so many who need EVERYTHING. They have lost their homes and the only clothes they have are on their bodies. The pleas for help from those trapped are unbearable. We have heard several "live" pleas for help. The local news shows much more than CNN and Fox News. I have NEVER seen anything like this.

When can we return? From the images I've seen, I'm not ready to return.

Just keep the Gulf Coast states in your thoughts and prayers...WE NEED THEM!
