According to columnists Rush & Molloy of the New York Daily News, newly-single Eddie Murphy made a booty call to Mariah Carey while she was dining with friends at the Raleigh Hotel’s penthouse. Murphy reportedly asked the songbird to come over to Prive, where he was chilling with Quincy Jones, Ice T and T’s woman, Coco.
Carey excused herself from her own gathering and made it over to Murphy’s get together at around 2:30. a.m., where she immediately began to get her close whisper and nuzzle on with the actor, spies say. Murphy "held hands with her under the table" one nearby witness adds.
The handholding continued as they slipped into the backseat of a Mercedes by 3:30 and whipped over to the posh Hotel Setai, where a witness told the paper: "They were sitting in the car 15, 20 minutes until nobody was on the street and then they went in together."
