And for those who aren't avid watchers of the 700 Club, Pat said the very same thing about Sadaam Hussein (he should have been assassinated instead of using military force to oust him) so ask yourself why didn't we hear about that one?

HMMMM.......

You really need to stop watching the 700 Club as your source of news. You're starting to refer to him ( calling him "Pat") as if you're on a first name basis with him.

But to answer your question.....

We didnt hear about it on Saddam for several reasons. We had already been to war with him and the country knew him as an agressor for invading Kuwait. Chavez has not taken any sort of military against a sovereign state, although he has murdered 10s of 1000s of native indians in his country using military force. The people are so distracted about the Genocide in Africa they don't even know what goes on in South America. Saddam Hussein was trying to develop nuclear weapons at one time. Chavez hasn't. Saddam Hussein gassed his own people, Iraqis. While Chavez has murdered Indians, he has not killed people considered to be Venezeulan (he just hasnt been directly linked, if you want the honest truth). Saddam Hussein has vowed, in the past, to do everything possible to destroy America. Hugo Chavez has never advocated war on America or made any such vow to mine or the world's knowledge. He has, however, made comments in refference to destroying our economy to the best of his ability should we bulldog him. Chavez is Anti-American, no doubt....but as of yet he hasn't barred Americans from coming into the country like Saddam Hussein did. Hussein and Chavez are on two different levels, you cannot expect the public of this country to feel the same on both figures.
