That be true. I wasn't sure by the context of your post if you meant more in depth than just what the pledges are taught for their pledge meetings.
I'm aware that some fraternities (actually, most CLUBS) who don't have ANY pledge period experience the problem of new members not knowing parliamentary procedures.
Those clubs have one day workshops and stuff -- but honestly and egostacially enough, we former pledges are way ahead of the game when it comes to meeting organization. For some clubs on campus in which some brothers participate outside of the fraternity, they're the ones who run the meetings, because they're the ones who've experienced the procedures and run the meetings smoothly.
A refresher course is always good, especially for the parliamentarian or attorney general of the chapter. It helps to know the fine points and voting margins!
