Postcards from different states
Hey girlies I have a huge favor to ask of y'all.
With my kiddo's we are doing a unit on the United States. For the next about 8 weeks we are talking about the states. We are doing a state a day (minus Wednesdays b/c we have half day that day and don't have enough time).
What I would love is if I could get someone from every state to send me a postcard with the state name on it to the school. Then the kids can put the cards on a map of the United States as they come in. Plus, I could have them practice their writing (he he) by writing you back a thank you letter.
If anyone is interested please send me a pm and let me know what state you live in (some of y'all I honestly don't know, sorry) so I can keep track. I can also give you the address.
More than one from each state is totally fine I would just like to get one from every state in the long run (at least by the end of the unit).
