Most applications just say "list of greek relatives". I've seen fathers, brothers, cousin, step-aunts and sister-in-laws (just to name a few) listed on applications. The male relatives always give me a chuckle.
I like this new policy because now my niece will be a double legacy to Alpha Xi Delta (aunt and grandmother), since I don't have any legacies of my own.
I think we need to educate our chapters more about legacy policies in general. I've been at some chapters where they feel they shouldn't give a legacy any more consideration than anyone else - mind boggling! Of course these are also the women that don't see that membership is for life - not just the time you're in college.
