Steve Belkin is the governor in question suing his fellow owners. The argument is over the signing of Joe Johnson, a guard who was a member of the Phoenix Suns.
It's turned into quite a nasty fight for a guy who's a solid enough player, but not really a superstar. I'm not sure why he'd pick to play for the Hawks over the Suns anyway (when the Suns would have matched the deal he got from Atlanta), but maybe that's just me.
