I've noticed that several NPCs have actually narrowed their definition of who is a legacy. I believe that one, for instance, has omitted granddaughters.

I suppose it's due to all the legacies we get in the South. It's not unusual for a chapter to have far more legacies than they could pledge and it can be really difficult when you're dealing with the legacy situation--omigosh, there are 150 legacies and quota is 40 and we want to pledge some non-legacies too.

I think that some of the really big and old chapters down here--Chi O at Arkansas and KD at Auburn, for instance-- would freak out if it were suggested that they add nieces to their legacies. And I really don't think that many chapters would consider nieces seriously on just "legacy" lines unles they really, really wanted them anyway.

Wow! If you could add aunts to your Panhellenic applications, the Carnation Nation applications would go on for 2 pages!
