My boyfriend and I met at the grand re-opening gala of our student union. It was a huge community event where we gave tours to alum, city council men, senators, members of the house of reps, members of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities board.... a lot of who ha and cheesecake. I being on the Student Association was there more or less a "student representative". My boyfriend, a member of the group that had been working on the development for years (student union board), was their showing off the fruit of his labor. He was talking to my favorite professor. I, noticing the hot guy chatting with my favorite prof, slid up to their table during the social hour. We ended up talking that night for somewhere along the lines of six hours. We exchanged numbers, went on a date the very next night... and the rest is history...
