We received our 14k gold lavaliers when we received our pledge ribbons. Does anybody else give those anymore? (This was over 20 years ago!)
Fraycheck is found in most sewing and crafts stores or in the sewing/crafts section of moost department stores. Costs around $1.75 for a 1.5 ounce bottle....you only need the tiniest amount.

I have a 14kt gold lavalier that I was given by my big sister when I initiated I still wear it (almost 25 years now
