Berger is right. Its real easy. He just has to have a form signed by his old chapter (the Gamma can provide - a master is on his CD of forms and one is in his manual that can be photocopied) that needs the signature of the alpha (stating that the transfering brother is in good membership standing) and the Tau (stating that he dosent owe any money). He presents that to the new chapter and instantly, he is on the books at the new chapter. The Gamma of the new chapter adds him and then sends the form on into HQ. They will remove him from the billing of the old chapter and add him to your roster.
We had a transfer brother join my undergrad chapter from UT-Chatanooga and one of our chapter members transfered to their chapter (UT-Chatanooga) same semester. Strange, huh? Considering the two chapters are about 1,200 mies apart.
Stranger still, on the way back from Leadership Seminar (we drove), we spent the night sunday night at Ryans' chapter - the UT-Knoxville chapter house. Its all connected.....
