From the way they were talking to me, you'd have thought I'd be out for days. I'm actually pretty okay, but I freaked out for a minute when they got started and again when it was over. The nurse or whatever put the mask on and said, "Just relax, this is just plain oxygen, breath through your nose." They hooked me up to all these monitors to watch my heart rate and respiration and whatnot, which was kinda scary, especially when they strapped me to the table. Then, when they put the IV in, she asked, "Do you feel tingly?" and rubbed my arm. Automatically, my whole body started tingling and I'm thinking "It wasn't till she did that, what the hell kinda Jedi mind tricks is she playin?!?" Then I felt a little warm and fuzzy. After a few minutes, they put an extra tube in the mask without telling me what it was. I just stared at the ceiling for awhile thinking, "Dang, I've been laying here for awhile, when do I start counting?" As soon as I'd thought it, this new lady was poking me in the leg singing, "Wake uuuuuupp" At first I started to panic, realizing how much time had passed without me knowing, but I was so disoriented all the freaking out was in my head, I couldn't freak out physically. When I realized it was really over, someone brought my mom in and they talked to me till the room stopped spinning. She put me in a wheelchair and took me outside 'cause there's no way I could've walked at that point, I'm still swaying a little bit. They gave me a rose (fake) for my bravery and that was it. My mouth is still bleeding so I put the gauze back in. I can't really talk and I look like a chipmunk, but I MADE IT!!! Woo-Hoo! Thanks guys, I know I was being a wuss, but I couldn't help it.
