The model takes time of day, table, your demographics, whether you've been there before, etc. all into account before they start giving out comps. Supposedly playing blackjack on a very cheap table in the morning on a weekday gets you comped better than playing it on a bigger table on Saturday night.

Interesting - any idea which casinos utilize these models? Any still clinging to older formulas?
It would definitely seem beneficial to use the more quantitative formulas, as the older models are flaky and annoying.
