I wouldn't admit it because I would be afraid it would scare him off. Or make him read too much into it. Or question the relationship or my motives in saying it. I guess one thing I learned EARLY on in my dating career is that you don't tell a man you want to marry him until he asks (or until you plan on asking him if that's your prerogative).
BOO on paying off that previous ring! I guess she didn't give it back?
So has she said anything about the conversation after sobering up?
