When taken correctly, birthcontrol pills are
nearly 100% effective. I personally dont trust birth control pills, BECAUSE they are so risky. God forbid you forget to take them at the same exact time every single day. Plus, one of my good friends got pregnant even while taking the pill the right way because of an antibiotic she had to go on because of a dog bite. Hello? If you take a medication that might affect your BC, you take backup precautions. Why is that SO HARD for people to comprehend?
I've been on Depo for 6 years and have never had a problem, and dont have to worry about "oops, I forgot to take my pill."
