Leslie, I wish you were right, because I love the old Dixie.. but that rumor has been going around the internet for nearly a year. Seems the actress who played Dixie said she'd never do it again. But, I still hope you're right.
As for Sam... ugh. I can't stand that character. He looks like a pumpkin head.
