I loved
Room for Squares before all the songs were overplayed. I went to see him last summer with Maroon 5 (I was there for Maroon 5 and he happened to be opening) and he was the single most disappointing act I've ever seen. I don't know how high he was, but he wasn't singing well and he decided to improv... I like and appreciate improv, but after 30 minutes, I was ready to leave. I was glad Maroon 5 had opened because it wasn't a waste of $, but I think the fame and $ have gone to good ol' John's head. I wish he'd go back to being the cool obscure guy who plays in fields
