So on Saturday afternoon, my boyfriend and I were driving home and all of a sudden my hand felt like it was asleep. I was like what the hell... then it got way worse and it was like I couldn't move either of my hands at all. Then I started to feel my face tingle and I was freaking out and couldn't breathe. Luckily we were close to the hospital, so I went into the ER and it turns out I was severely hyperventilating because I was struggling to take a breath. They did a bunch of tests and I am going to see a specialist today. I guess this little thing is turning out to be a bigger issue than I thought.
This really sounds like a cardio pulmonary problem. Events like congestive heart disease (where you heart does not beat strong enough and fluid builds up in your body) or small pulmonary emboli (blood clots) can cause symptoms that exhibit like this.

Definitely pursue find an answer....ask about pumonary emboli. Do you sit for long periods at your employment? Have you had a lengthy airplane flight? Have you had a serious bruise in the last few months? (Deep vein thrombosis)

Are your ankles or lower legs puffy? Do you feel like you have been passing liquid as normal? Do you have any wounds that have been slower to heal than normal? (Congestive heart failure or diabetes)

good luck, keep us posted.
