Guys are people, too. If they like a girl and want to be with her, they'll work just as hard as you to make it work.
If they don't then they won't...

2) If you try to act like anything other than the real you, then how can someone love the real you?
So be yourself and be honest with yourself and with him. If you want to stay together through the distance, talk it over and see where he stands. You're not asking for a ring or affirmation-- just that you'd like to see where this could go.
