Robert & Shana ParkeHarrison use an antiquated technique involving paint and film, in the place of digital photography and editing.
i saw them on PBS a while back building a small set for a piece called The Navigator. She had Robert climb short ladder post with a board of fluffy matterial just below him. later, they add in the rest of the scene with paint and i-don't-know-what. The collection is about the last man on Earth restarting civilization.
