I know I might regret asking this, but... what exactly did they do to make the horse want to.... um... ...perforate his colon?



Another tidbit of info...

"The colon or bowel can become perforated for any of various reasons includng trauma, surgical error, diverticulitis, inflammatory disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, cancer, and any cause of toxic megacolon. If the perforation is not diagnosed and treated in a timely fashion, the perforation could result in the leakage of bile leading to sepsis, peritonitis, and other life treatening conditions."
