At least, at work, you only have to eat the cafeteria food at lunchtime... and if it's truly atrocious you can brown-bag it. It's not like you've bought a mandatory meal plan and you have no choice but to eat Aramark food three times a day all semester.
I do not miss:
-- Having to share a room intended as a double with 2 other girls (who were evil, btw)
-- Being worked like a dog and having to pay for the privilege, instead of getting paid
-- Overpriced textbooks
-- Working on group projects with slackers (although, yes, this has often happened to me at work as well)
-- LOUD roommates and suitemates
-- Not being able to have a car (on-campus parking spots for undergrads were scarce)
-- Cafeteria food (fortunately we had a declining-balance plan, and the balance was refunded if you didn't use it... I learned to cook
real fast

)
