As if Ebonics is the only way to keep AA interested in school.
Sounds to me as if the goal of the program is to ensure that our children will not know how to effectively communicate to become successful.
Someone in the article compared ESL (English as a second language) to ebonics. Helllloooo... ebonics is not a foreign language and should not be treated as such.
