Here Here!

As a teacher too, I thoroughly enjoy reading chapters of books to my kids. Every Friday, after lunch, we take 20 minutes in which I read to them. Also everyday, we have free reading time so I get excited to see my kids reading books that don't have pictures on every page. YAY!
Back to Harry Potter now.
It was just brought to my attention from an LJ friend that the killing curse leaves no trace of attack. The person just literally drops dead. Why then does Harry wipe a trace of blood from Dumbledore's mouth after he dies? I think maybe it's b/c he was already dying from the cursed potion but I'm not completely sure.
