Sophomore Year:
I was supposed to live in the on-campus apartments with a good friend, but housing screwed up and we ended up in different units. I moved into the on-campus apartments (which USED to be reserved for sophomores and up) and found myself paired with 2 freshmen and a sorority girl. I was rushing that semester.

The freshmen were obnoxious with typical freshmen drama and experimenting with all the types of alcohol they could ingest. I'm a light sleeper and these girls would blast the TV and leave lights on.

The sorority girl had it in for me for some reason. I have no idea what it was. I ended up cutting her chapter during recruitment because I didn't feel it was the best fit for me, ended up joining ADPi, and it's strange because I had a lot of friends in her chapter but after recruitment she just got really rude.

I spent an entire semester dreading going back to my apartment. I would stay awake all night and living with those girls stressed me out to no end. The kicker was when they broke into my room when I was out of town one weekend to "search my room" because they thought that I had something of theirs (one of the girls and I were flying the same airline on different flights for commuter flights home, and she was convinced I'd taken her ticket... whatever!)

I ended up getting mono toward the end of the semester from lack of sleep, stress, etc. I moved into the ADPi house the following semester and enjoyed 2 years of worry-free roommates!
