My roomate freshman year started off really cool. She was an inhouse legacy for a certain sorority and her sister was a senior in the chapter so first semester (we have deferred recruitment) she was a saint, I think she didn't want them to see the real her!! Then she kinda went crazy. She drank alot, acted stupid, didn't have time for me, etc. She inevitably broke my boyfriend and I up with a huge lie after her boyfriend had dumped her, then her and my ex hung out all the time. Like he would come up to our dorm room on Saturdays (only day boys could be in our dorm) to pick her up and say two words to me.
THEN, One time she was deathly sick, I mean puking, couldn't breathe, fluid running out of every opening on her head, disgusting. I brought her medicine, filled a prescription, went to our room only to sleep, got ready in the community bathroom instead of our room, would walk around in the dark with no shoes so as not to wake her, etc. The next week, I got whatever she had and she was better. She came home every day while I was sleeping with food from the cafeteria (she loved cabbage) and would flip on the lights, throw her books down, and turn on the tv, and talk on the phone probably to my exboyfriend, and I rolled over to look at her like WHAT THE HECK IS YOUR PROBLEM and she said, "What?" OH MY GOODNESS. She was the most immature and self centered person on the planet.
OK so THEN.......her mother was flying in from out of state to see her for the weekend and she had a huge test Friday and no time to clean up the room. So I cleaned our room from top to bottom, folded and put away her clothes, MADE HER BED, washed all the dishes, etc. A few hours after all that was done, I ate some Easy Mac because I was starving and I went to the laundry room to iron something to wear the next day. In this span of time her mother arrives and is in our room. My roomate comes and finds me and tells me that she would appreciate it if when I ate something I would clean up my mess because her mother had to wash my bowl. remember, this was less than 10 minutes after I had cleaned or picked up everything she owned. I looked at her and said, "if you don't turn around and walk away right now you might get the worst butt (I used a lot less nice word) kicking you have ever or will ever receive in your entire life. I really don't think I have ever been that angry in my entire life, I mean angry to the point of tears.
We didn't talk much after that. She left her mom, my mom, and myself to finish packing up the room for moveout because she scheduled herself to work that day. FUnny, it was the same place my ex worked, and he got her the job.
