It is my extreme pleasure, downright joy, and a lot of other GREAT THINGS to be able to tell you that today I was contacted by a local, Black owned publishing company about publishing my book. I sent them the manuscript 2 weeks ago today and when I arrived home this evening there was an e-mail from the publisher telling me that they will publish my book. Leaping across my home office to my living room, I called my #1 fan.
Then I began telling the news to many of the special people in my life. I still have more calls to make but I have all week.
Now, because I know how you all are, I must tell you I have more to go on my journey before the book is on a shelf and I go on a book tour and all that good stuff but I did want to update you all.
Now I need to update my website and let the mailing list people know but I had to share with the GC family. So many of you have been great over the past 2 years and have travelled the road with me with encouraging words, thoughts and prayers and I love you for that.
So I am happy happy happy happy tonight.
