I had a friend of a friend who worked at one...they said their managers had to rate the applicants on how hot they were...anyone under an 8 didn't get hired, no matter what retail experience they had. Bullshit if you ask me.

My ex-boyfriend from college was a manager at A&F and then at Hollister and he told me that his boss told him not to hire anyone bigger than a size 4 AND "don't hire anyone who you wouldn't want to wake up with the next morning". He also told me that the people who work there totally talk smack about customers all the time. I told him that was a really odd way to attract customers and he said obviously it didn't matter because the stores all do really well.
Needless to say I still feel uncomfortable shopping there because I feel like someone is talking about me every time I'm there.
