a third party vendor has to be the one checking IDs and serving any aclohol also if I'm geting this right. So, my chapter couldn't go to let's say a mixer with a Fraternity from a neighboring school or even on our own campus if it's only brothers IDing and serving. that is if we are formally invited as Zeta and attend as Zeta. It's all about who ends up being liable if something bad should happen at or after the party...
